Junior Technical Consultant

Then you might be one of the future consultants we are looking for to join our Martech (Marketing and Technology) Academy launching in September 2022!

What will your day look like?  

During the academy, you will develop your skillset within the technical areas of digital marketing technology. Your workplace will primarily be in our offices in Copenhagen or Madrid. Both offices are centrally located with easy access via public transport.  

You will be hired as an Associate Application Consultant and be onboarded alongside nine like-minded applicants to work as one unit while gradually becoming a part of a client project that matches your level of expertise. You will get to meet brilliant people who share similar aspirations, helping you to build connections in the marketing technology industry.  

As part of the program, you will be given full support and guidance to become an expert within the industry, by working with top-ranked CRM platforms. You will gain an understanding of how to build and configure marketing campaigns and API (Application Programming Interface) integrations. You will also assist with outlining technical product specifications, estimating time and scale of projects, and implementing/testing multiple variants of projects.  

Furthermore, you will learn how to:  

  • Configure product features based on client requirements  
  • Test the configurations of product features and create documentation  
  • Investigate and resolve issues of product features  
  • Support internal teams and client users in their use of the product  
  • Assist in analyzing customer requirements to determine technical suitability 
  • Outline the effort of successfully delivering marketing solutions into production  
  • Work within an agile framework, working in sprints to achieve tasks outlined for the coming week(s)  
  • Manage your time and daily tasks to ensure project success.  

Who are you going to work with?  

You will be joining our Technology and Data (TAD) team, which consists of 150 colleagues spread across 7 different locations worldwide.  

You will become part of an exciting and globally distributed team, where you will be working closely with Architects, Developers, Technical Project Managers, Data Consultants, and other Application Consultants within the technical team. Additionally, you will work with Project Managers, copywriters, front-end developers, UX/CX Consultants, and Designers outside of your department.

What do you bring to the table?  

You are an outgoing and self-motivated person who contributes positively to the working environment with your team-player attitude. You are not afraid to express your opinion and your organized approach helps you meet deadlines and break down projects into manageable chunks. 

You are proactive and not afraid to take responsibility. Your great communication skills in English allow you to make complex problems understandable and manageable.  

In addition, you have:  

  • Great interest in Digital Marketing Technologies and user experience.  
  • Educational background in computer science, data processing, engineering, IT (Information Technology), or similar.  
  • Experience with JavaScript or similar.  
  • Basic knowledge in any SQL flavor (MySQL, Postgres, Microsoft SQL Server, etc.)
