Junior CRM Developer

At Wunderman Nordic, we are looking for our next potential rising star – an ambitious, curious and positive Junior Developer to join our technical team in Copenhagen!

Welcome to one of Europe’s leading CRM agencies

At Wunderman Nordic, you will join an agency which specialises in delivering unique and high-impact digital marketing experiences that build, enrich and evolve brand-customer relationships.

With the brain of a consultancy and the heart of an agency, we work with some of the most admired brands within sport, fashion, FMCG, retail, travel & hospitality, pharma and finance.

Exciting? Yes. Challenging? Always.

As one of the leading digital agencies in Denmark, we have a strong focus on delivering advanced technical solutions to our clients – solutions that include multichannel communication in both email, mobile, web and POS systems. Join us to get the opportunity to work with international clients such as SAS, PANDORA and Adidas, while working on one of the most advanced CRM platforms on the market.

At our office in central Copenhagen, we offer a job in an exciting and challenging professional working environment. We have a flat structure, and as a developer you can expect to get a lot of responsibility.

In the technical department, we are proud of what we do. We often arrange hackathons and other professional events, and we have weekly morning meetings with focus on academic content as well as social fun. You will get a hand-in-hand manager who will help you continuously develop your skills. In addition to being a very experienced department, we have a high focus on mutual respect, helping each other and being easy to work with.

What will your day look like?

Starting as a junior developer, you will be matched with an experienced mentor, who will introduce you to Wunderman and the platforms we use. Learning best practices of how we work, you’ll shortly be able to understand the technical structure of a client project, identify client requirements by researching concept, understand client strategies and targets for the projects, develop workflows and work out technical specifications and test methods. And surely there will also be a lot of coding.

Being responsible for implementing projects in cooperation with the project team, your tasks will include:

  • designing data models and coding
  • contributing to product implementation/customization
  • working out estimates for new and existing clients
  • providing feedback, summary and information about your projects, agreeing plans with the client and breaking down projects into manageable chunks
  • participating in daily scrum meetings to meet our clients’ expectations of a short time to market
  • testing and maintaining client applications and platforms
You get to work close to the client together with architects, developers, project managers, application consultants, designers, data specialists etc.

What do you bring to the party?

The complexity of our projects is high, and therefore it’s essential that you have good understanding of technology and are eager to learn new technologies. This means having an interest in and knowledge of technologies such as SQL, XML, JSON, JavaScript, experience in html and CSS as well as knowledge of one or more programming languages. In addition, you:

  • have a Bachelor’s Degree in software development or similar
  • are a highly ambitious, outgoing and self-motivated person, who will always make sure to stay up-to-date with your projects
  • contribute to the working environment with a positive attitude
  • are always helpful and a team player.
If you’ve got the right personality and skills, we promise you a career in one of the most experienced data-driven CRM companies in the world. Please send us your application and CV if you’re up for the challenge.
