Project Manager Student

Are you passionate about digital marketing, and can you see yourself working in an international environment, servicing global top-tier clients? Would you like to challenge yourself, and apply what you have learned in practice? We are seeking Project Management Students with an interest in digital marketing and project management, and the hunger to deep-dive into projects for our growing list of clients.

A leader in personalised customer experience

With the brain of a consultancy, the heart of an agency and the power of technology and data, we work with some of the world's most admired brands within sport, fashion, consumer goods, retail, travel & hospitality, pharma and finance.

Wunderman Thompson Marketing Automation & Personalisation Centre of Excellence (MAP CoE) helps large brands create personalized omnichannel customer experiences at scale.

As a world leader in marketing automation, personalisation, CRM, loyalty and campaign management, we work closely with globally leading marketing technology vendors such as Adobe, Google and Salesforce, to continuously create cutting-edge marketing solutions and enhance our offering to our clients.

What will your day look like?

As our new Project Manager Student, you will take part in organizing and coordinating key client projects, as well as assisting the team on various tasks. Your job is to help ensure a high level of quality when we deliver projects on time and within budget. More specifically, your tasks will include:

  • Developing project scopes, plans and timelines
  • Driving projects, consistently ensuring continuous progress and that deadlines are kept
  • Managing relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Estimating budgets and allocating resources
  • Supporting the team on various ad-hoc tasks such as administration, development of PowerPoint presentations, etc.

Who are you going to work with?

At Wunderman Thompson MAP CoE’s headquarters in Copenhagen, you will join a team of highly skilled Account Directors and Project Managers, who are passionate about delivering the very best outcomes for our clients. You will become part of a dynamic and international environment, where you will get plenty of opportunities to develop both professionally and personally. We are proud of our multicultural environment and easy-going, yet dynamic atmosphere where we not only work together – we are great at having fun as well.

Your work will depend on collaboration with the broader organisation, which means that you will get to collaborate closely with experts and professionals from our technology, data, experience design and client teams from our other offices in the UK, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Spain, Portugal, Canada and Thailand. We are a leader within our field and are a transformation partner for some of the most admired brands in the world.

What do you bring to the table?

As a person, you are proactive and positive, and enjoy working in an international and multicultural organisation. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, which is why it is important that you work well in teams, but also have the ability to work independently.

You always work to deliver the best possible outcome despite any challenges that may arise, and as you will be coordinating several projects simultaneously, it is essential that you are organised and can keep perspective, while paying attention to the details.

It does not matter what degree you have. What does matter is that you bring a curious mindset, along with an interest in working in an agency where you can grow and develop your professional skills. An aptitude for digital marketing and technology is also valued, as well as a keenness to develop your project management abilities. In addition, you have:

  • Enrolled in a master’s degree or the last year of your bachelor’s degree
  • An interest in working with CRM, digital marketing and technical projects
  • Knowledge of project management tools, Scrum and the Atlassian tool-chain is an advantage, but not expected or required
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • An ability to work between 15-20 hours a week.
