Account Director - First Party X Paid Media

Would you like to work in the cross-field of first-party data and paid media? Do you have a solid experience working with a variety of media platforms and delivering cross-channel marketing? If yes, we are looking for an experienced Account Director with the hunger to identify business opportunities and define and lead projects for one of our global clients.

What will your day look like?

In the role of Account Director, you will be responsible for organizing and managing a program of work for our international clients. In the day-to-day business, you will be expected to lead the team and manage the client roadmap connected to the program of work, so strong people skills and a strategic mindset is a must. Furthermore, you will play a central role throughout the entire project lifecycle, where you will make use of your strategic thinking and management skills as well as tackle more hands-on tasks. A good understanding of the ad tech landscape (e.g. analytics platforms, CDPs, Google stack and Meta properties) and media strategies are essential as you will be working closely with technical development teams and media agencies.

More specifically, your tasks include:   

  • Managing the client relationship and expectations
  • Managing the team and being a daily sparring partner to your colleagues
  • Work closely with the client and their media agencies to drive transformation
  • Producing high-quality presentations for internal and client meetings
  • Proactively ensuring that obstacles are mitigated
  • Developing project scopes, plans and budgets
  • Overseeing and managing projects incl. securing progress across the broader team involved from different specialist departments, managing risk and ensuring deliverables on time, on budget and with high quality.
  • Brainstorming & developing new opportunities for activating first-party data in paid to support building out the roadmap with the client

You will be the linchpin in a network of closely coordinated project managers, paid media delivery managers, audience managers, ad tech teams, developers, data scientists, and experience designers. What do you bring to the table?

You are an easygoing person with a proactive and positive mindset. You work to deliver the best possible outcome despite challenges that arise. As you will be managing several projects simultaneously, you are an organized person who can keep perspective while showing great attention to details. In addition, you have:  

  • 5+ years of experience working within the paid media space (ideally agency side)
  • Potential hands on experience with paid media platforms, for example Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, or programmatic platforms
  • Extensive knowledge working with data, technical projects and paid media campaigns
  • Experience with strategic management and implementation of projects within media, CRM and/or web
  • Ideally, you also have experience working with CRM and first party data
  • Ideally you also have experience with either Salesforce Marketing Cloud or Adobe Experience Cloud
  • A general understanding about GDPR, CCPA and the nuances of privacy regulations in the US, EMEA and APAC.
  • Highly competent and confident, with strong self-discipline to manage deadlines, estimates and budgets – with a variety of stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills in English and excel in creating and presenting PPT presentations.
  • Please note that our clients are international so travelling is expected.
